Part two of the project for this client was cutting a twenty meter level trench to absorb grey water. The soil was a mix of sand and clay with a lot of organic matter as well, so apart from the odd patches with some rock, it made for easy digging and we had the trench finished quickly.

The trench was then half filled with 20mm crushed rock topped with geotextile and backfilled with the original overburden. It was a quick and easy job thanks to the soft soil.
