Tree and stump removal

Digging out a tree stump by hand is back breaking work, but a mini-excavator or a stump grinder can do in minutes what might take you many hours by hand – even for a large stump.

But why bother removing tree stumps? Did you know that the stump of a dead tree can attract termites? And anything that brings them closer to your home increases the risk that they end up in your walls doing damage to your house.

If you are worried about the damage that even a small machine might do to lawn and pathways in your garden when digging out or grinding a stump, then don’t worry. I can place ground protection mats in the travel and work areas to reduce the impact of the machine moving around and working.

The larger stumps on this project required a stump grinder to remove. Followed by some clean-up with the excavator. It was a challenging project due to the steep block.
